i am visiting newfoundland this summer and am hoping to experience a taste of Labrador coastal villages. i would really like to stay for a week somewhere and catch the boat back the next week. I am looking ideally for accomodation where i could trade my skills in return for my keep. i am a teacher and an organic gardener. i can cook, clean, garden, child mind, word process, spin wool, make paper from recycled materials and various other textiles art works.

i have travelled in outback australia for a year working as a cook on prawn boats, plantation and orchard worker, roach deinfester, deli cook and i spent a month with a camel racing team in the desert as a general helper. i have lived in arctic finland and norway and spent time with the sami people learning a little about reindeer herding. i have worked at a building project restoring isolated abandoned fishing villages in norway. i'll have a go at most things. i could pay a small amount towards my keep. please contact me if you have any ideas. i would really love to be able to make this happen.i write when i am away travelling and although ive not submitted anything for publishing my dream is one day to do so.
